We have witnessed quite a paradigm shift in the way we see nutrition over the last few decades. The “one size fits all” nutritional supplement is no longer adequate

age and different lifestyle needs.

Well nutrition has evolved and we are now able to provide personalized nutritional supplementation according to each individual’s DNA.

where your body needs extra support and what you cannot absorb.

Do Any Of These Anti-Aging Creams Work

So do any of these anti-aging creams work at all? And what do they do exactly? The answer to if they work or not is yes
no and sort of all rolled into one.

There are literally thousands of different anti-aging creams on the market today. Since women are especially concerned with the effects of age to their skin
most of these anti-aging creams are marketed towards women
but many men have turned to their use as well.

Most of these anti-aging skin products will produce the appearance of reduced wrinkles which can be noticeable in even just a few weeks of consistent use. However
there aren’t any known anti-aging creams that will actually eliminate wrinkles or otherwise permanently reverse aging effects to your skin.

Anti-aging creams will remove layers of dead skin
and hydrate the lower layers giving them a plumper and fuller look that helps reduced the appearance of wrinkles. The wrinkles are not permanently removed
and will reappear after the discontinued use of the product.

Therefore

you have to keep applying it everyday and will go through a lot of it quite fast. Since the cost of many of these ant-aging creams is not cheap
maintaining the reduced wrinkle effect they offer can become expensive.

You can achieve a somewhat fuller

plumper skin appearance by using less expensive moisturizers. The only scientifically tested and proven anti-aging cream ingredients are vitamin C and E
as well as Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA). These three ingredients are proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles but there are likely many other ingredients that will produce similar effects.

Results of any particular product will vary from user to user
and a good strategy would be to try several different brands before settling on one that works best for you.

Anti-aging creams aside

the two most effective things you can do to slow down the appearance of wrinkles is not smoke and apply sunscreen at the beginning of everyday if you plan on being outside for more than ten minutes. SPF 15 or higher is recommended. As much as you may want a tan excessive UV exposure is a sure way to bring on wrinkled skin before its time.

Feeling and Looking Good With VelaShape and Candela GetleLASE Laser Treatment

If you can look and feel better without having to go through plastic surgery, wouldn’t you do it? Plastic surgery should be the last of your options when it comes to aesthetic improvements on yourself. There are numerous way of looking and feeling better, and the wonderful thing is, it is inexpensive and is easily available to you.

Laser Hair Removal

Tampa aesthetic clinics offer a variety of treatments under laser hair removal. The idea behind laser treatment is that it hits very dark pigments, including hair follicles. Exposure to laser light will kill these follicles, reducing, or completely eliminating hair growth. Permanent hair removal through laser treatment can be done in almost all areas of the body including your back, chest, legs, arms, armpit, face, and pubic area.

Laser treatment comes in many forms. The most common types are the Intense Pulse Light Treatment (IPL) and the Candela GentleLASE treatment. IPL uses a specially constructed Xenon Flash lamp with focusing optics. This form of laser hair removal does not actually use laser. Instead, it uses various wavelengths of light to target hair follicles in the epidermis. IPL also helps improve skin irregularities and texture. The initial side effect of the treatment is reddening of the exposed area. You will feel a small amount of discomfort during the procedure but it will subside after a few hours. Some may also feel itching and irritation of the exposed area—all of which are common side effects of Intense Pulse Light.

Candela GentleLASE is a newer form of laser treatment that uses a skin cooling device to reduce the usual side effects felt with other laser treatments. Permanent hair removal with Candela GentleLASE is ideal for lighter skin tones with dark hair. Laser light is converted to heat, targeting the dark hair follicles avoiding other tissues in the skin. Each and every pulse of laser is accompanied with a spray of coolant solution to keep the skin comfortable and free from burns. This is a perfect and pain-free alternative for bikini wax or Brazilian wax treatments. Bikini waxing and Brazilian wax treatments are undoubtedly uncomfortable and painful, especially for first timers. So why go through the trouble when you can get rid of hair through laser hair removal?

The best results are seen after 3 to 5 sessions of laser hair treatment.

Losing Weight Without Liposuction

Liposuction is a very invasive form of weight loss. If possible, it should only be considered in desperate situations. There are numerous risks with liposuction, even with new innovations today. Downtime after liposuction is also a hassle. Other risks from this surgery are infections, fat or blood clots, fluid loss, nerve and organ damage. Instead of taking these risks, why not try a new body contouring treatment?

Body contouring is the non-surgical way of cellulite treatment and fat elimination. One leading body contour treatment is brought by VelaShape. VelaShape combines Bi-Polar Radiofrequency, Infrared Light Technology, and Vacuum and Medical Massage. The final result is reduced appearance of cellulite, smoother and firmer skin surface, and circumferential reduction of bulgy areas in the body like the tummy, arms and legs.

A clinical study of various cellulite treatments showed that VelaShape reduced cellulite and bulging by 85%. Noticeable skin rejuvenation was also observed after the second session of the treatment.

You see, there are a lot of ways to look and feel better without plastic surgery. You just have to know your best options out there so you get the best results.

Oxygen is a vital need for our body, including our skin. Oxygen treatments feed the skin with the necessary vitamins and minerals it loses during the aging process. This anti-aging process uses pure oxygen molecules and embeds it to each and every pore which in the end, leaves our skin refreshed and lustrous. Support this treatment with a healthy diet with fruits and 6 to 8 glasses of water daily. Fruits have anti-oxidants that is nature’s best anti-aging tool, available for all.
Hormone Replacement Therapy

This anti-aging therapy uses natural hormones produced by our body, particularly those which we have during youth. Individuals who undergo this treatment take pellets that are slowly released in our body, avoiding hormonal surges usually experienced from injections. This is ideal for people over 50. This anti-aging treatment does not target external aging factors but rather caters to our need for more energy and vitality.

Anti-Aging Herbs and Supplements

Choose herbs and supplements containing ginseng, grape seed extract, reishi mushroom, jujube fruit, lycii berry, and rhodiola rosea. Studies have show that these herbs are effective anti-aging agents that can be ingested in different ways. Take it as a tea drink, a drug supplement, or a food ingredient.

Anti-aging Diets

Tampa and the rest of Florida is abundant of fruits rich in vitamin C, B6, B12, E, and beta carotene that keep skin healthy. Greens, mustard, calf’s liver, and snappers are rich in vitamin B. Citrus fruits, bell peppers, potatoes, strawberries, and raw cabbage are good sources of vitamin C. Carrots are one of the cheapest and best source of beta carotene. Incorporating these food groups to your diet will ensure you more energy, better digestion, and young-looking skin.

Laser Skin Resurfacing

This anti-aging treatment uses thermal heat to treat damages areas of the skin. The appearance of deep scars can be reduced with this process. 3 to 5 sessions of laser skin resurfacing can dramatically change the color and texture of the skin, giving it a lustrous and radiant glow. Furthermore, the session only lasts for 30 t0 45 minutes—very ideal for busy people.

Dr. Mercedes Montealegre of Tampa offers all of the above mentioned treatments and more. In case you’re interested with her weight loss treatments, try asking for SmartLipo since it is the latest offering in non-invasive weight loss technology. Start feeling good and set an appointment today. Make sure to get the help of a Tampa certified doctor.

Cosmetics for Sensitive Skin

When you have sensitive skin, you have to be careful about every single product you use. Many cosmetics contain harsh ingredients and additives that can cause breakouts, allergic reactions, dry skin and a host of other issues. It goes without saying that sensitive skin deserves and needs special treatment. If you’re looking for cosmetics that are specifically tailored for sensitive skin, here are some helpful tips and suggestions.

Cosmetics Ingredients

Take note of which cosmetic ingredients irritate your skin. You can keep a personal log of ingredients to keep track of which products cause which reactions. It’s extremely important to check ingredient labels every time you buy new cosmetics. Count the number of ingredients in your cosmetics. The fewer ingredients in a cosmetic, the less likely it is to cause a sensitive skin reaction. Most dermatologists recommend that women with sensitive skin should avoid any cosmetic that contains more than ten ingredients.

Generally, powdered cosmetics contain fewer ingredients and fewer preservatives than liquids or creams. One good choice for all skin types: Skinn High Definition Cotton and Mineral Foundation, as part of the Skinn High Definition Cotton and Mineral Foundation Set.

Storing Cosmetics

Store all cosmetics properly, and use them in ways that don’t contaminate the contents of the jar, bottle or other container. For instance, always use clean fingers when applying creams or lotions to avoid transferring bacteria to the cosmetic. Bacteria are common culprits in many skin irritation situations.

Replace old cosmetics when they expire. Old makeup products can spoil, especially those that contain all natural ingredients. And if you’ve had an eye infection, discard any eye makeup that you may have used to avoid re-infecting your eyes.

Invest in a good set of makeup brushes and keep the clean and disinfected. Having a set of makeup brushes separate from the applicators that came with your cosmetics will avoid the tendency to just drop the applicator brush back into the cosmetic where any contaminants can infect the rest of the product.

Common Sensitive Skin Irritants

Stay away from waterproof cosmetics. Waterproof cosmetics require cleansers that contain solvents that can be irritating to sensitive skin. Even worse, they remove your skin’s own protective oils, or sebum, which exposes your skin to chemicals and other irritants in the environment.

Use pencil eyeliner, which is much less likely to cause problems than liquid eyeliners. Also, dermatologists believe that black is your best choice for eyeliner and mascara because the colorants used are among the least likely to contain allergens. A good choice: Senna TLC Mascara and Eye Makeup Remover Duo.

Use a foundation that has a silicone base if you must use a liquid or cream foundation. Silicone doesn’t cause acne, and is much less likely to irritate skin than oily foundations.

Also, check the sunscreen ingredients used in makeup with an SPF. Women with sensitive skin should only use makeup that contains zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. Chemical sunscreen ingredients that can absorb sun rays rather than deflect them are more likely to be irritating to sensitive skin.

If you have sensitive skin, these suggestions can help you steer clear from irritants and protect your skin. Here are a few recommended products for sensitive skin:

Cosmetic Finds for Sensitive Skin

  • A good, hypoallergenic cleanser is a must for sensitive skin. Cleaning your face thoroughly each night is vital to keeping your skin clear and blemish free. Intelligent Nutrients Anti-aging Cleanser and Moisturizer Duo with Wash Cloth is USDA certified organic and contains anti-oxidants and nutrients to help renew and refresh skin without drying it.
  • Moisturizer is another necessity for most types of sensitive skin, but it’s important to choose a moisturizer that won’t over-stimulate your skin’s own oil glands. Mastic 24h Moisturizing and Rejuvenating Cream is made with a simple and pure formula that includes calendula cream and green tea to refresh skin and keep it young and supple.
  • It’s not easy to find an exfoliating cleanser that is kind to sensitive skin, but Kellie Oliver has put together an entire cleansing package for women with sensitive skin. The Best of Kellie Oliver collection includes a masque and cleanser made with papaya, which contains enzymes that help get rid of old skin cells and renew your skin.
  • Sun does more damage to skin than any other environmental factor. A good foundation includes sunscreen, but women with sensitive skin need to be careful of the sunscreen ingredients they use. Senna’s Barely Base Tinted Mineral Foundation is a sheer cover foundation with an SPF of 15. The sun protection is provided by zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, the two safest sun screens for sensitive skin. The color is provided by minerals, which are far less likely to irritate sensitive skin.
  • Mature skin needs special care to help keep it young and toned, but many of those ingredients can irritate sensitive skin. Intelligent Nutrients Anti-aging Mist and Serum are designed especially for the needs of mature, sensitive skin. The water based moisturizers are made with certified organic ingredients that stimulate collagen production without irritating skin sensitivities.

If you’re still having trouble finding foundations, eye shadows and other cosmetics that don’t irritate your skin, consult a dermatologist for more help in finding the safest beauty regimen and cosmetics.

How Can You Pick A Good Antiaging Skin Care Product

You may trouble in Find a good skin care product. Just imagine if you could confidently pick your way through the heaps of anti aging skin care products store assistants push at you, and the screaming intimidating billboards, and seductive untruthful glossy magazine covers, and find an anti aging skin care treatment that actually works, day after day. And is modestly priced.

Wouldn't that be something?

There are several reasons it's so hard to find the right anti aging skin care product.

Sheer volume is one. There are a staggering 11 billion personal care products sold in this country each year. How can you possibly find the good ones without some specialized help?

And another reason is the lies and hype of smartly dressed store assistants. How do you know if they are telling you the truth?

Finally, there is the plain greed of store owners and product manufacturers. There are $1.6 billion worth of skin care products sold here each year. And, unfortunately, because there is money to be made there are many unscrupulous peddlers who will offer fake anti aging skin care treatment.

On the other hand there are some truly stunning, effective products out there that will help you look younger and more vibrant.

You can easily tell the fake ones by opening the top and smelling them.

If they have a strong, deliberate fragrance put them back on the shelf. Many anti aging skin care cream products have a "nice" smell added in the factory. The chemicals that make this trick work have toxins. And these will get in through the pores of your skin into your bloodstream. Avoid that, even if the product is cheap and smells heavenly.

A good perfume or body spray will give you a fragrance. And it only needs to be spotted in one or two small areas of your skin. The anti aging skin care product that smells strongly has to be rubbed and massaged across large areas of your body. The dangers and risks associated with that are high.

Another thing to look for is the word "collagen" on the product label.

If an anti aging skin care product includes this compound, refuse to use it. Manufacturers are trying to trick you when they include collagen in their products and promote it as a natural, young-skin enhancer. It's not.

OK. It is true that your skin ages, sags and wrinkles because the natural collagen in the skin breaks down as it gets older. And it's logical to assume that if you rub some in, this will compensate for the loss of natural collagen. But actually, the molecules are too big to enter your skin when simply rubbed across the surface. The only way you can replenish collagen is to use compounds that will stimulate your own body to produce more collagen in its own way and time.

So, there's two things to watch for, as you select an anti aging skin care treatment.

Price is another thing to look at. You want a good product, but at a good price.

The people who make anti aging skin care products know they are selling into an emotionally charged market. They deliberately play with what you feel about your looks. So expensive marketing is one of their biggest sales tactics. They put more money and emphasis on this than on the research needed to make quality products that work.

That's why you see glamorous models and celebrities promoting these products. Beauty sells. It's why skin care products come in elegant glass containers or stylish tubes. Appealing design sells. That's why they spend thousands of dollars for full page ads in glossy fashion magazines or on television. Constant, manipulative branding sells.

This costs huge amounts of money.

Take the many models and celebrities who endorse an anti aging skin care product. Elle Macpherson is the latest face of Revlon, joining Halle Berry, Jessica Alba and Beau Garrett as glamorous stars sponsored by the cosmetic giant. How much is Revlon paying them? At Chanel, Nicole Kidman is the face of No. 5. Keira Knightley promotes Coco Mademoiselle. Claudia Schiffer, Jane Fonda, Pierce Brosnan, Penelope Cruz and others endorse L'Oreal.

These companies pay millions of dollars for these celebrity endorsements. And they have to include that in the price of their products.

This is one reason I go to the smaller, quality manufacturers when I recommend a vanity item ... like an anti aging skin care product. Because these smaller companies can keep their costs down and have more of their profits available for extra research and development.

So there you have it. Look for an anti aging skin care product that deliberately leaves out fragrance, contains compounds that will encourage your body to naturally replenish the collagen in your skin, and is made by a small company with high standards, a development program and without a celebrity on the marketing payroll.

Young Girl's Skin Care Guide

Pretty much as soon as puberty kicks in. This is the time when the body starts to experience the many changes that come with this cycle. On average, this can be any time from the age of 12.

As your body undergoes massive hormonal changes you'll start to notice changes to your skin too. This is when most girls will start to use skin care products.

Use products with natural and botanical ingredients rather than chemical ones. Natural is far more gentle and less likely to aggravate your skin. Not only that, doesn't it make sense to opt for things that come from nature to put on your face rather than ones cooked up in a lab!

Look for products that aim to balance skin to counteract all the imbalance that's happening during this time. If you start to develop good skin care habits early it will help to avoid skin problems during the teen years and beyond.

What's the real deal in terms of what I need to do to look after my skin?

1. Keep skin clean. Cleansing skin and using the right type of cleanser is the number one thing you can do for your skin. Alkaline cleansers or ones that contain (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate) SLS strip surface oil from the skin, leaving it depleted. The oil glands respond by pumping out more oil to compensate, leading to skin that is out of balance and prone to problems.

Cleanse skin morning and night to remove dirt, grime and make-up, which, if left on skin, clogs pores and leads to skin congestion, often resulting in breakouts. Do not over-cleanse, which a lot of people with oily skin tend to do. Over-cleansing will again just act to dry out the skin surface and result in the skin trying to fix that problem by producing more oil.

2. Wash your face after exercising. This is very important. All that salty sweat is basically toxic waste (toxins) being released from your body. It is coming out of your body and you need to remove it by thoroughly rinsing your face with water until you can no longer taste the saltiness.

3. Exfoliate 2-3 times a week. Exfoliating skin is an essential part of a good skin care regimen. Exfoliating skin removes cells from the skin's surface, not only immediately refreshing skin's appearance but also stimulating cell renewal.

Everyone exfoliates naturally. About a million tiny skin cells fall off the body in a minute! By using an exfoliator, you are helping the body in this process. Exfoliating removes dull surface cells to reveal a healthier, more vibrant complexion.

Avoid abrasive scrubs on problem skin. If you have pimples, blemishes or acne, these can be easily opened up or irritated with the abrasive particles contained in some exfoliators. Like open wounds, harsh exfoliation can leave blemishes subject to even more infection, taking them longer to heal.

If you don't have problem skin, a harsh exfoliator can create problems by over-stimulating the skin sebum, resulting in over-production of oil. Exfoliating is a vital step in a skin care regimen, but it should always be gentle exfoliation, which is why natural exfoliants are your best bet.

4. Moisturise your skin. Your skin is exposed to daily environmental stresses - sun, smoke, pollutants, highly processed foods. Moisturiser is your defence against these assaults. It works to protect the skin against attack, and to nourish, replenish and feed the skin with essential nutrients.

What's the deal with pimple creams - do they work?
Yes, they work but you need to find the one that works for you.

As a general rule, those products designed to dry out pimples are very harsh and using them on skin that is infected only aggravates it. This tissue needs soothing, calming, antibacterial products, not harsh, caustic creams.

Many a teen girl has experienced using one of these products to find that they only make your skin red and aggravated and sometimes make the problem worse. Anything that is too harsh can aggravate your problem or lead to irritation.

Nature has an abundance of natural pimple-fighting ingredients - things like sea buckthorn berry oil, tea tree oil and neem oil, to name a few. All have proven benefits on pimples and oily skin. Stick to products that source pimple-fighting ingredients from plants and flowers and not chemicals.

Is it good to put essential oils on your skin?
Essential oils are the concentrated parts of plants produced for their own survival and protection from disease. These precious oils influence the plant's growth and reproduction, ensuring a long and healthy life.

The structure of essential oils is close to that of the fluids and oils on our skin. They are readily absorbed and able to penetrate to the deepest layers. They are also proven to help correct problems such as wrinkles, excessive oiliness or dryness, blemishes and uneven skin tone.

Essential oils can promote the elimination of dead cells, regenerate new ones and prevent the growth of harmful bacteria. So, are they good for your skin - you bet!

Now, you might think oil on oily skin - no way, but seriously, they are skin saviours. Different oils have different benefits - some designed to control oil production, balance skin and others to promote healing.

Do you need a toner as part of your skin care regimen?
Toners are also called astringents or clarifying lotions. These are claimed to tighten skin pores, reduce the size of enlarged pores, and 'balance' the production of oil in the skin.

Most of these products contain alcohol or natural 'astringents' that can actually be quite harsh on the skin. The alcohol can make the skin feel 'refreshed' or tight and clean (just like men's aftershave lotions, which are also alcohol-based), but they do this by removing the oils from the skin, not by changing the size of the skin's pores.

People with dry skin actually need the skin's natural oils and can damage their skin by using toners or astringents. People with oily skin simply make their problem worse with these types of products by signalling the body to over-compensate and produce more oil.

Do natural ingredients contain preservatives?
There is no such thing as a preservative-free skin care product. Products claiming to be all-natural or organic do need to use preservatives to protect against bacterial contamination.

Without preservatives, your skin care products would get mouldy. As yet, there is not a highly effective all natural preservative so most skin products, even the natural ones, do use synthetic preservatives. But there are some preservatives that are milder and less irritating than others. As a general rule of thumb steer clear of products that use paraben preservatives

Does what you eat affect your skin?
For years experts have told us that there is no link between diet and pimples and then surprise, surprise just recently a major research report showed that teens that changed from a high fat, greasy diet to one high in fruit and vegetables experienced an incredible change in their skin.

In most cases, the pimples were significantly reduced. It kinda figures that you put bad stuff into your body then it will come out in the form of bad stuff - zits!

Does smoking and alcohol affect your skin?
Absolutely! Drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes can dull the complexion and damage the quality of the skin.

This is because the nicotine in the tobacco smoke narrows the blood vessels taking oxygen to the skin via the bloodstream. The skin with less oxygen takes on a greyish tinge. Fine lines and wrinkles appear because the skin is dry and less elastic.

If you want gorgeous, glowing skin, dump the cigarettes.

Heavy binge drinking just totally dehydrates you and dehydrated skin will work overtime to pump up the volume on the oil factor and the result - really crappy skin.

So, there you have it - a little knowledge about your skin and the products out there and you are on your way to better skin!

Get The Benefits Of A Spa Treatment In The Comfort Of Your Home

Everyone wants to look younger and more attractive - it's a fact of life! Unfortunately many people either cannot afford expensive spa treatments and appointments with skin care professionals, or they just don't have time for them. And let's be honest: the term "chemical peel" does not sound that appealing.

To give your skin that youthful, healthy appearance that everyone desires there are a wide range of home skin care products designed for anti aging benefits. Whether it's a deep cleaning of your skin, facial toning to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, removal of toxins, or something to smooth your rough, cracked heels, affordable product solutions are available that enable you to get the beautiful skin you desire in the comfort of your own home.

Deep Cleaning with a Home Microdermabrasion Kit

Microdermabrasion is method of cleaning skin that has recently crossed over from celebrities to the general population. During the treatment, tiny rough grains are used to "buff" away the top layer of dead skin cells to reveal another layer of skin cells that are in the process of maturing. Often this treatment is referred to as the "instant facelift" because it is a more cost effective and less invasive procedure than plastic surgery, chemical peels, and Botox injections. Popular in skin treatment centers, salons, and day spas, microdermabrasion treatments can cost anywhere from 100 to 200 dollars or more.

With the creation of home microdermabrasion systems, anyone can enjoy the benefits of this skin care method without the cost of professional treatments or the hassle of scheduling an appointment. Beverly Hills salon owners Amby Longhofer and Dean Rhodes saw the need for a home system that would benefit clients who could not afford the costly treatments and who wanted to accelerate the results of the treatments. They created the DermaNew Microdermabrasion Kit and developed a line of creams and cleansers to be used with it. The DermaNew tool is compact and battery powered for easy use with interchangeable heads for different applications. It is two-sided for both high and low frequency applications and is water-resistant for use in the shower.

The DermaNew Microdermabrasion Kit is available in two versions: the DermaNew Start New Total Body Experience System and the Dermanew Microdermabrasion Total Body Experience Kit. Both versions of the kit include different attachments for the resurfacing tool and an assortment of the cleansers and creams, but the Total Body Experience Kit contains more of each.

Skin Toning with Microcurrent Facial Machines

Electronic Muscle Stimulation (or "EMS") has been used as a form of physical therapy and rehabilitation by therapists for quite some time to stimulate and strengthen muscles in their patients. In recent years the same technology has been utilized for fitness by products such as the Slendertone Flex Ab Belt to tone hard to work abdominal muscles. It has also been utilized by skin care professionals as a form of anti aging therapy - the electrical micro currents tone the muscles of the face and increase the body's collagen output, improving the skin's elasticity and giving it a healthier, more youthful appearance.

Typically microcurrent facial machines are for clinical or salon use, but there are some models such as the NuFace Microcurrent Skin Toning Device that are the designed for use in the home. Compact, handheld, and powerful, the NuFace is the only product that is FDA approved for facial toning. It uses safe, painless, low-level electrical currents to "reprogram" the face muscles to almost their original shape. Unlike the facial toning machines use in clinics and salons, the NuFace Microcurrent Skin Toning Device does not require additional wires and probes, so it easy to use practically anywhere.

Far Infrared Heat Therapy Removes Toxins for Healthier Skin

When most people think of sweating, one thing comes to mind: gross! In reality, sweating is an important function of the human body. It cools the skin when it gets hot and helps to remove toxins from your system. The removal of toxins can be very beneficial to the health and overall appearance of your skin.

Far Infrared Heat Therapy is one of the most effective ways to get the body to sweat and rid itself of toxins. The infrared rays have the ability to penetrate deep into human tissue and heat it from the inside without heating the air in between, triggering sweat glands and stimulating your body's production of collagen. By heating the body without drastically heating the air around it this process makes the use of far infrared saunas much more comfortable than traditional saunas. While traditional saunas typically heat the room itself up to a stifling 220 degrees Fahrenheit, infrared saunas typically stay between 110 and 150 degrees.

This difference in temperature makes the treatment much more comfortable and enables the user to stay in longer. Far infrared saunas for the home are widely available, very reasonably priced, and are easy for practically anyone to put together.

The DPL - Deep Penetrating Light Therapy

System also uses far infrared heat therapy but in a much smaller form. Two panels that sit on top of a stand are covered with over 150 infrared LED lights. The panels can be removed for use on different parts of the body, but the use of the stand makes this product ideal for focusing on removing toxins from your face. A treatment of 15 - 30 minutes per day can produce noticeable results in a few weeks. The DPL - Deep Penetrating Light Therapy System is great for treating acne and helping to reduce the appearance of acne scars.

8 Key Point Of Natural Skin Care

Skin is a very important and visible part of our body. It's a kind of protective coating on our entire body parts.

As we care and look after our all organs, our skin requires a little more care as it's directly in contact with the outer environment as dirt, dust and sun. Harmful chemicals, which our polluted air contains, and bad water too are a cause in damaging skin before time.

So one has to care about one's skin well and should make a daily routine to pamper one's skin to protect it from early aging and harmful skin disease.

Skin is affected by both the factors external and internal. External are direct contact with harmful UV RAYS, dirt and dust and internal is due to wrong food habits.

Your body is what you eat though it's a lot determined by genes and one can have a bad skin due to hormonal imbalance in a particular age but eating all wrong food as all oily and spicy food can damage your skin. Which cannot be regained by external care only.

For a good easy skin care here are a few tips:

* First thing should be keeping your skin clean. Rather than using soaps on the face, its better to use mild face wash according to use skin type as oily for oily skin, dry for dry and combination for the combination one. One can use our home remedies for a beautiful, healthy and glowing skin. One can use rose water, lemon juice, and fruit juices to clean and wipe the skin with. It will give a refreshing look to one's skin. If the skin is dry than one can use a pinch of milk cream and a drop of lemon juice on it, mixed and rubbed on the skin and then washed. Which is very good to clean the skin.

* Then is drinking lots of fluids. To have a good, healthy skin one should drink lots of water which is said to be at least 8-10 glasses of water in a day and some skin and health specialist say that it should be in proportion to your weight as for every 10 kg of weight, one should drink a liter of water so if the weight is 60 then the person should drink 6 liters of water. Which can be substituted with fruit juices too.

* Always apply sunscreen lotion on the skin. One should never go in the sun without applying a sunscreen lotion, which protects the skin from harmful UV rays.

Which are known to give even skin cancer. It damages the skin and makes it tan, give blemishes, burn mask and pigmentation, which can never get healed 100%. So it's better to apply the right sunscreen lotion on the skin to save the skin from early aging.

* One should avoid all unhealthy food if the skin is already suffering from bad patches or pimples. Even caffeine drinks are harmful for the skin. Too much consumption of tea, coffee, saturated drinks damage the skin. Smoking too is a very important factor to harm the skin. It makes the skin dry, makes it look dull and gives puffiness on the face. Drinking alcohol too isn't good for the skin. So if one can't stops consuming all these things completely, one can at least have them in moderation to help the skin stay young and healthy.

* Where one don't get proper time to care the skin as full time working people, never mind, they can care their skin in a very well way by a little effort from there side. Working people should keep moist tissues in their bags and purses to wipe their face to remove dirt and sweat when they cannot wash their face again and again. Should apply sunscreen when outside home and nice mild moisturizer on the skin while doing anything else. Even in the night before going to bed one should wash the face, keep it clean, remove any make up if had put on the face and then should apply a good moisturizes according to the skin type.

* One can judge the skin type in the morning. As in the morning without washing the face one should wipe the face with a tissue paper, if there is lots of oil on the nose sides and chin then the skin is t-zone, if there is oil all over the face then the skin is oily, if its somewhere dry and somewhere oily then it's combination skin, and if there is no oil n stickiness on the skin, the skin is dry and you are lucky if the skin is just perfect neither there is oil nor dryness.

* If the skin is prone to pimples and acne, one should give it a little more care.

Should clean the skin more often, should apply medicated soaps and lotions. One should check it up with a skin specialist too as dandruff in the hair and scalp or some hormonal changes too can be a cause of a bad skin. One should never pinch or squeeze the pimples or acne or should not try to remove black head on their own as it will ruin the skin more and will give it permanent scars.

* One should avoid too much make up on the skin as if you care about your skin and keep it healthy and clean, you would definitely not require make up to make it look good. But if anytime you had applied make up on the skin, you should clean it as soon as you come back home. Let the skin breathe without any make up on it. One can use baby oil, baby lotion or mild cleansing milk on the skin to remove the traces of make up.

So one can get a glowing, healthy skin by giving it a little care and can keep the skin away from black heads, pimples, blemishes and pigmentation.

Top 10 Skin Care Tips For Girls

When girls grown up, there are many problem with them, Many girls learn, by age 12, to drop formerly enjoyable activities in favor of the beauty treadmill leading to nowhere. They become fanatical about diets. They munch, like rabbits, on leaves without salad dressing, jog in ice storms, and swear they love it! Ads abound for cosmetic surgery, enticing us to "repair" our aging bodies, as if the natural process of aging were an accident or a disease. Yet with all this effort, they still never feel like they are good enough.

Healthy skin is really one of the most important ingredients for beauty-enhancement. This article on skin care tips is an effort to bring the 10 best skin care tips to you. The list of skin care tips has been restricted to 10 because anything more that that would not only be difficult to remember, but also shadow the more important skin care tips.

Top 10 skin care tips

So let's see what these top ten skin care tips are:

* Knowing your skin type is one of the most important skin care tip. This is important because not every skin care product suits everyone. In fact, all the skin care products specify the type of skin they cater too.

* Drink a lot of water? This will not keep your skin moist but will help in overall upkeep of your health (and in turn your skin). It might seem a bit awkward to some, however, this is an important skin care tip.

* Cleanse your skin regularly (1-2 times everyday). A very effective skin care tip that helps in getting rid of the dirt and other harsh elements from your skin.

Cleansing is especially important when you have been out of your house (and hence exposed to pollutants, dust etc). This skin care tip also advocates the use of Luke warm water for cleansing (hot and cold water, both, cause damage to your skin)

* Be gentle, after all it's your skin. Don't scrub/exfoliate too hard or too often. Similarly, don't apply too much or too many skin care products. A must-to-follow skin care tip.

* Keep your skin moist at all times. This is one of the most important skin care tip. Don't let your skin get dry. Dryness causes the outer layer of your skin to break, leading to a rough and unattractive appearance. Use moisturisers/emollients. Moisturisers work best when applied while the skin is still damp.

* Avoid the use of soap on your face. Soap should only be used from below the neck. A small but important skin care tip.

* Use sunscreen to protect yourself from sun's harmful UV radiations. You can use day-time moisturisers that have sunscreen built into them. Use them even when it's cloudy. UV radiations are known to cause skin cancer, so follow this skin care tip without fail.

* A bit of exercise and good sleep are essential too, not just for skin care but for your health as a whole. Lack of sleep can lead to formation of wrinkles below your eyes and lack of exercise can cause your skin to slack. Moreover, exercise and sleep also help in beating stress. So besides being a skin care tip, this is also a health care tip.

* Treat skin dilemmas with care. This skin care tip is about not ignoring any skin dilemmas. Consult your dermatologist before you go on to use a skin care product (lest you do end up harming your skin even more).

* Beat the stress. The harmful effects of stress are known to everyone, however, sometimes stating the obvious is essential too (and hence this skin care tip found its place here). Yes, stress harms skin too. So, take a break or indulge in a warm bubble bath or just get good sleep.

We Can Make Antiaging Skin Care Program Simply

If you've ever tried to find a skin care product to deal with the skin care concerns of aging skin, you're probably as confused as the average person. There are so many products and ingredients that tout 'increase in this', 'decrease in that' , 'revitalized this and revitalized that' and on and on and on. Many empty promises or over-hyped formulations.

In order to understand what anti-aging skin care products are intended to do, you have to first understand about what the aging process is for skin. Aging skin has the condition where the structural proteins that bind and support the skin, collagen and elastin, lose their resiliency and cohesion, causing the skin to wrinkle and/or sag. The body's ability to produce new collagen and elastin also diminishes with age while the cells in the various layers of our skin decline and thin, loosing the ability to adequately maintain moisture. Without proper hydration, the healing mechanisms of the skin cease to function, adversely affecting the skin's ability to receive nutrients and repair itself. The result is rough, lose, wrinkled skin.

Of course, we all want to have the best skin possible at any age and are searching for solutions to maintain our skin's youthfulness. In our quest and with the constant marketing and advancements in skin care, it can sometimes be difficult to find an affordable and effective solution for great skin care.

However, what you need to know is that it doesn't have to be that complex (as many of the product name suggest!). What you should consider is that what any skin care program should be is simple. That's it, just simple. The results that we all want are simple: soft, smooth, clear, radiant, younger-looking skin.

Too much of the time now days, skin care marketers are trying to convenience consumers that they need formulations that no average consumer can understand, or day and night products, or formulations that highly successful, well-known personalities would use. If you think about it, how many products do you currently have in your storage that were purchased because of these marketing strategies?

With these types of advertising, there are so many re-touches and questionable representation of the product effectiveness because the personality also receives so many other types of services and procedures that impact the condition of skin that you really cannot know the true results that the highly marketed products will bring.

The positive side of the situation is that there are constant and ever evolving advances in skin care and we all have the option for our skin condition improving with age.

If you are looking for a skin care program, there are some guidelines you may want to consider when making your skin care choices:

Protect your skin while you are in the sun and extreme weather. Use proper protection.

Drink lots of water. It's so important for proper skin hydration and keeping your body clean from toxins and other chemicals that could cause adverse reactions in your skin.

You should know what you are using on your skin. If you can't pronounce the majority of the ingredients or there are more than 5 or 6 ingredients, then it may be too complex for what your skin actually needs. Skin care that uses these types of formulations are full of fillers, coloring, preservatives, and chemicals that are not beneficial for your skin and come with a high price where the consumer is paying for the filler more so than the active ingredients. These types of ingredients are only needed to fill up the bottle and make it appealing to smell or touch. Sometimes products will contain multiple active ingredients but in order to formulate these ingredients, it requires that other ingredients be added. You end up paying for something your skin cannot use. The cheaper ingredients are filling up the bottle. Try a similar approach to how you would choose your food (skin is 'live cells' and needs nourishment). Watch the labels and choose products with skin healthy formulations where the active ingredients are 80% of the ingredients.

You should use a good and effective cleanser. This is the most important step in your skin care process. Many cleansing products do not leave your skin feeling smooth and deeply cleansed. Find a product that goes deep into the pores, provides light exfoliation and conditioning, and does not leave any residue. Applying moisturizers and treatments on top of skin that is not completely clean will just make the problem worse by clogging pores and showing a rough, uneven skin texture.

You should be able to adjust your program to meet your skin's daily needs. If you can't adjust the use of the products to match what your skin needs on a particular day, are you really getting what you need? Your program should be able to hydrate, heal, and renew your skin. You should see this gradual improvement everyday and not have to wait 30 to 60 days for results. It's like watering a plant. A plant that needs water as a critical nutrient will respond immediately to the water being absorbed through its roots and perk up within a few hours. Watch your skin for a week or so and you'll know how effective the program can ultimately be for your skin care needs.

You should be able to quickly go through your regime. It should not take more than 5 minutes. A skin care program should include the steps to cleanse, exfoliate, treat and/or moisturize. You should be able to pick and choose what you need based on you skin's current condition for that day.

You should not be able to feel the product on your skin. In order for skin care to really be effective, it must penetrate the skin cells. Product sitting on top of your skin is product that is not penetrating the skin layers. Products with fillers and other unnecessary, complex formulations will may not get deep or directly enough to provide the treatment and results you are looking for. You should not know that you are wearing your skin care.

You should feel comfortable with makeup optional skin. If your skin care is really working, your skin will improve and you will not want to put makeup on it if you don't have to. Most skin problems are correctable to a large degree. You should be able to go out feeling confident that your skin is at its best (with minimal makeup) no matter what your age is. Also, by using makeup less, you are giving your skin more time to repair and restore itself without the interruption of other product chemicals on your skin.

Comprehensive Acne Skin Care Tips

If you are like most acne sufferers, you might get obsessed with the whole wash your face regularly and avoid certain foods thing. Although the main cause of your acne is not due to poor hygiene or eating certain foods, in so many instances some factors tend to worsen you acne conditions, leading to more pimples (zits) on your face.

Proper acne skin care

helps in reducing the amounts of breakouts on your skin. A number of skin experts and health practitioners are of the opinion that natural acne treatments are the best for reducing the intensity of acne lesions on the skin and tend to recommend the following acne skin care tips.

One factor that could worsen your acne condition is clogged pores, which results in more pimples on your face. Before you go scrubbing your face a million times a day, you should know that you have to be gentle with your face. Wash your face at most thrice a day, and you should use lukewarm water. Avoid soaps that contain chemicals

and ingredients that damage your skin. Try using a mild cleanser. Remember to pad your face dry and avoid scrubbing.

I know you can't help it. But hey!!! Keep your hands by your side, stop touching, squeezing, rubbing or picking your pimples and other lesions. In case you don't know, doing that can cause severe acne scarring and more acne flare-ups. So simply put "get your hands off your face".

If your are a guy, then you should be careful how you shave. Try and find out which razor type is best for your skin. Although I used to use electric razors when I had a lot of pimples on my face, but now I use "twin blades" shaving sticks to shave. Always shave gently to avoid scrapping your acne lesions, which could result in acne scars.

There is a type of acne that is termed "cosmetic acne" which is usually more prevalent in girls. Using certain type of cosmetics can worsen your acne problem or could even be the major cause of your breakouts. Oil-based (comedogenic) cosmetics are the major culprits in worsening your acne condition and you should stay clear of such. Try using water-based (non-comedogenic) cosmetics, which do not clog your pores.

If you are light-skinned (Caucasian), and you regularly sun-bathe, you might feel that a tan would look good on you by giving you a nice complexion and drying out your pimples, but you should try reducing the amount of sun exposure. When you expose your skin to high intensity sunlight, Ultraviolet rays from the sun would dry the outer layers of your skin resulting in it peeling off. Regular exposure to high intensity sunlight makes you prone to having skin cancer.

A very common argument among dermatologist, doctors and health care practitioners is whether diet affects acne or causes acne. Well there is one thing that is certain, a large number of acne sufferers know that there are certain types of foods that increase the amount of pimples (breakouts) on their face. I have noticed that there are some foods that when I take in large quantities I expect breakouts (pimples) in the next 5 to 6 days.

To prevent skin problems such as acne, white and dark spots and pimples, you should consider changing the content of your meals by including more nutritious foods. You can improve your acne condition by eating foods that are rich with antioxidants. These help in keeping you healthy by fighting heart diseases and slowing down cell regeneration. Fruits and leafy vegetables contain enough of these.

Doctors have always recommended that you take at least 10 to 12 glasses of water a day. Your water intake affects your skin's health. Taking the recommended amount of water a day would make your skin healthier. Try reducing your sugar intake by drinking less sodas, and fruit juices. Instead take fruits; this will definitely prevent age spots and discoloration of your skin.

In addition to the following acne skin care tips that you've just read, you should try using an a system, which combats you acne problem from the inside and the outside. An excellent acne skin care product is the clear pores system which consists of a deep cleansing facial and body wash, protection cream and a herbal supplement that is guaranteed to fight acne inside the body.

Another very good product is Revitol's acnezine system which also consists of a skin anti-Oxidant Capsules and a Moisturizing Cream, all to ensure that your skin is clear of acne. The acnezine system was what made my skin free of pimples. It seems the healthy pores system has so many testimonials to its effectiveness; it is also a wonderful product you can use in ridding your skin of zits.

Most acne sufferers would talk of tales of what acne did to them in terms of their social life and how clearing those little monsters off their skin has made life more enjoyable. If you suffer from adult or teenage acne, it is guaranteed that following these acne skin care tips and using an effective acne skin care product, you would have the smooth and clear skin that you deserve.

A Comprehensive Skin Care Program

Your skin is your armor, your shield from the elements. Yet when was the last time you really thought about what you need to do to take care of it? Throughout your life, genetic and environmental factors will cause a lot of wear and tear to your skin. But you are never too young or too old to start taking care of your skin. In fact, skin care and protection should be an essential part of your health, fitness, and beauty regime. If you take care of your skin, your skin will take care of you! If your stuck in a skin care rut, or if you are just looking to learn a bit more about the basics of skin care, read on to learn more about this important step in your daily activities.

The Essentials of Skin Care

The first step to taking care of your skin is preventing damage. Sun, wind, pollutants, and simply aging can degrade the condition of your skin. Common complaints include dry and itchy skin, wrinkles, sagging, color changes, and age spots. There are steps that you can take to keep you skin looking and feeling its best.

Exercise, rest, and good nutrition lay the foundation for beautiful, healthy skin, inside and out. A proper diet is not only good for your overall health, it also helps to ensure that your skin will receive all of the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that it needs to maintain and repair cells. Drinking purified water is another good way to keep your skin healthy. Water helps to hydrate the skin and move waste and nutrients through the system. It is very effective mixing a teaspoon or capful of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar in with your water. Do not drink Tap Water.

The most important way to care for your skin is to protect it from the damaging rays of the sun. Ultraviolet radiation damages the skin and can lead to wrinkles, premature aging, age spots, and cancer. Take extra precautions to make sure your skin is not exposed to the sun's rays. Use a natural sunscreen, or a moisturizer that contains sunscreen (at least SPF 15) everyday. Your skin does need some sunlight 10-15 minutes of direct exposure daily.

Dry skin is very common, especially with age. Older skin has fewer sweat and oil glands than younger skin. Dry skin may be caused by frequent baths, certain cosmetics or medications. But whatever the cause, there are ways to alleviate the itchiness associated with it. Avoid using harsh soaps when bathing, and if possible, cut back on the number of baths or showers each week. A sponge bath with warm water may help to clean and revive skin without stripping the skin of its valuable moisturizers. When you do use soap, try using a natural very mild soap that does not contain any dyes, parabens or perfumes.

Follow up the bath with a moisturizing lotion like Parfait Visage, concentrating on problem dry areas. A good all natural moisturizer is one of the foundations for a healthy skin care regimen. Continue moisturizing throughout the day to keep skin healthy.

Your hands and face are particularly susceptible to daily damage, and may need to be moisturized several times.

A Skin Care Routine

A skin care routine does not have to be elaborate in order to be effective. But you should develop some kind of skin care routine based on your skin type, daily activities, and nutritional needs so that you can be sure you are taking the very best care of your skin. Following a daily skin care regime will also allow you to more closely evaluate your skin for abnormalities. Here's a simple routine that you can adapt to fit your needs.

1. Cleanse. Wash your skin thoroughly on a daily basis to remove the dirt, debris, pollutants, and perspiration that accumulates on a daily basis. If you have dry or sensitive skin, use only warm water to wash your skin and use a mild natural cleanser every few days like the product Oxy-Skin. If you have normal or oily skin, be sure to wash with a gentle cleanser on a daily basis. Be sure to brush your teeth before washing your face, as toothpaste residue can irritate sensitive facial skin.

2. Moisturize. Unless your skin is very oily, you will want to use a moisturizer everyday to keep your skin hydrated and healthy. Your skin needs moisturizer all year long as both the indoor winter heat, and summer sun can be equally damaging to your skin.

3. Protect. Use a natural sunscreen when possible, regardless of whether or not you plan on spending much time in the sun. The sun's rays are very damaging and if you get in the habit of applying sunscreen everyday, you will never be left without protection. The suns most beneficial rays occur at sunrise and sunset.

Skin Care Products

There are several types of skin care products that may make a useful additional to your daily skin care. These include cleansers, sunscreens, moisturizers, exfoliants, facial cleansers, toners, retonoids, herbal and nutrient supplements, and cosmetics.
